HEALTHY SNACK REVIEW: KIND BARS

Healthy snacks are not always so tasty! We here at TFL thought it'd be a good idea to share some of our experiences in fighting the battle to discover healthy snacks that don't make you wish you'd gone for the ones packed with calories.

KIND BARS

In the chaos of a hectic day in the city, my mom reached for the Almond & Apricot KIND bar in a bodega on our way to the next appointment. There was no time to stop for a meal so our snacks had to do. I must say we were pleasantly surprised.

These are healthy & surprisingly very good! In addition, the KIND company's mission is to promote kindness throughout the world. What a worthy cause!

SWIMSUIT TIME!: Tips & Trends

So the sun is officially upon us & with our luck, cutouts & plunging necklines are 'in' trends this year! lol But have no fear! Luckily there's a way to pull it off with taste.

When shopping for your suit, remember these tips:

DO NOT do the infamous T-Shirt! Don't be afraid to show off your curves. Trying to hide your flaws under a T-Shirt actually makes you look bigger! Find a long wrap that cinches at the waist if you're not comfortable showing all of your skin.
No Flashing! For girls with big chests, it is easy to experience undesired exposure once the suit is wet as the fabric expands...be sure to pick a snug fit up top to prevent cup-overflow in the water. ;)
Pick For Your Body Type! If you have short legs/short mid-section, consider a suit with a cut that falls higher on the thigh. If you have a longer shape, the cut-out swimsuits should work well on you figure.
