Media Takeout has reported that Thick Fab diva Beyonce has fired her father (Matthew Knowles) from his role as manager after literally a lifetime of holding down the fort. The split is reportedly due to a growing separation between Beyonce & her father both professionally and personally after the divorce of her parents. She is said to be hiring husband and rapper Jay-Z to fill the position.
Let me fist say that I'm a true-blue Beyonce fan & have been since the early stages in her career when she and the girls of DC were on tour opening for Boyz II Men (with no props other than chairs!). It was nice to see the relationship she once had with her father & the broken relationship is sad if this is true. No one truly knows what happens in the Knowles family and I'm sure that with the amount of admiration Beyonce had for Matthew, her reasons for this split may very well be valid. I wish the Knowles family the best in mending their relationships.
